Cross Borneo Trek

I want to attempt the Cross Borneo Trek (Indonesian Island with lots of Jungle) during July/ August 2023.
There is not that much information about this route but I already found a guide (although that tour is quite expensive). First, there are some drives and boat rides from Balikpapan and then there is a pretty challenging trekking part through the center of Borneo. The last part is done by boat again and the Trek ends in Pontianak.
It looks super intriguing and will be a real adventure!

By the way, the packaged trip would be around $2300 but there are less expensive ways.
