Clarke-Thelon NWT 2020

One or three partners for Clarke-Thelon canoe trip

The Clarke is a tributary of the Thelon, with rocky scenery and numerous rock garden rapids class 1.5-2, all of them runnable. The best time for the Clarke is late June because it’s largely snow fed and tries to run out of water by mid-July. The Thelon is famous for its history more than its scenery. Six days on the Clarke and eight or more on the Thelon. Air charter (Yellowknife) drop and pick up CAD4000 each plus canoe rental.
