Chulu West/Tharpu Chuli Tent Peak

Looking to organise a trekking peak expedition either Chulu West or Tharpu Chuli. I have obtained the prices and itinerary from a local company in Pokhara. The cost is the same for both Chulu West and Tharpu Chuli – $1800 per person for a group of 4. The price includes 2 sherpas and their insurance, food, transportation, climbing equipment (we need to provide our own boots)

Tharpu Chuli (tent peak)

Day 1: Kathmandu to Pokhara and half day sightseeing
Day 2: Pokhara to Kande( by drive) then trek to Landruk(1580m) 6hrs
Day 3: Landruk to Chhomrong (2175m) 6hrs
Day 4: Chhomrong to Doban (2600)m 6hrs
Day 5: Dobhan to Machhapuchhre base camp (3700m)7hrs
Day 6:Machchapuchhre base camp to Annapurna base camp(4130m)2-3hrs
Day 7: Acclimatization day and climbing preparation at ABC
Day 8: Trek to Tent peak base camp (4450m) 5-6hrs
Day 9: Trek to High camp(5200m) 5hrs
Day 10: Summit to Tent peak and Return to High camp (7hrs)
Day 11:Decent to Tent peak base camp then return to ABC(6hrs)
Day 12: Annapurna Base camp to Bamboo 7hrs
Day 13: Bamboo to Jhinu Dada (1760m)6-7hrs (Hotspring )
Day 14:Jhinu Danda to Nayapul and drive back to Pokhara(7hrs)

Chulu West

Day 1: Kathmandu to Chame(2650m)10hrs drive
Day 2: Chame to Upper Pisang (3300m) 6hrs
Day 3: Upper Pisang to Nagwal(3540m)
Day 4:Nagwal to Manang (3520m)6hrs
Day 5:Acclimatization Day at Manang
Day 6: Manang to Yak Kharkha(4000m)5hrs
Day 7:Yak Kharkha to Base camp(4250m) 6hrs and training about the expedition
Day8: Base camp to Camp (high camp)4670m 4hrs
Day 9: summit day and back to Yak Kharakhe 8-9hrs
Day 10: as per the group would like to continue trek over the Thorngla Pass5416m or back to same way almost similar days

Tourism will have to return to normal post lockdown but hopefully something could be organised around September/October/November 2020. I will be staying in Pokhara long term then so I am flexible with dates.
