Beginner trek somewhere around Pokhara in the beg. May
My name is Sahra, Im from Sweden and Im currently living at a yoga ashram in Pokhara. The mountains look amazing so I feel that not going would be a big mistake, even though I came primarily for the yoga. I have done some trekking before in Europe, in both Scandinavia and the French alps but nothing like this.
Im looking for like-minded, who is into a trekk in a reasonable pace and on a not so high altitude. I would t mind staying at the same place for two night and just enjoy being up on the mountain. I very flexible as long as there s no stress. I could be away for up to three weeks or just one week. I would like to start the trekk in the beginning of May.
Le me know if this sounds like a good idea 🙂 The best would of course be if we could meet up asap and have a talk…
Take care everyone!
I am thinking of doing Poon Hill starting around May 4 (Im flexible in starting date). From what I hear it takes 3 to 5 days, but I would like to plan it for 5-6 days to take it easy and enjoy.
Im currently in Pokhara doing volunteering work staying at a family’s house in Male Patan area. Let me know if you are interested and we could meet up and have a talk.
I’m also a beginner trekker, currently 4 weeks into a 6 week medical elective placement in Pokhara have just done a short 3 day Poon Hill ascent/descent which I enjoyed (although walking today is tricky). I want to do a form of ABC trek beginning of May as well, starting around 6th?
I was initially thinking of doing it on my own with guide and porter for flexibility on the route, but some like minded company would be an added bonus?
If you haven’t got plans (or have and are willing to share) then maybewe could meet in Pokhara for a chat? Though I need to organise this week as am off to a remote village on Sunday until next Saturday?!
My email address is on my profile (I think) although I might not have regular access, but my Nepali number is 9805858853 if thats easier.
Just let me know, and no worries if not
