Annapurna Sanctuary Mid December
A late season trek in the Annapurna Region, no rain, no clouds and more importantly no crowds! If conditions are good I plan to do the Annapurna Sanctuary with an independent local guide that has come highly recommended. I have contacted the guide and I am waiting for confirmation of his availability for around mid December. Looking for someone relatively fit that might be interested to join, as I like to walk at a reasonable pace without taking excessively long stops. I hope this will be the first of many trips to Nepal with another trip planned for Nov – Dec next year.

I will be doing EBC in late November, and am looking for a trek in the Annapurna region starting mid-December. How long is your itinerary for the Sanctuary? I hike at a reasonable pace, but not super fast. I also don’t like taking long breaks.

Hi Priya, I plan to fly into Pokhara on the morning of the 18th and depart on the same day. Our planned itinerary has us returning to Pokhara on the 27th and then I fly back to Kathmandu on 28th. Unfortunately my time on this trip is a bit restricted but I still plan to do it and return next year and do a longer and less restrictive trip – perhaps the Annapurna Cct.
