Annapurna Circuit Trek

Solo trekking dude here. It will be my first time in Nepal. I don’t have any exact plans yet. I want to go for a month, starting mid september.
Hit me up if you’re interested in hiking together. I’m 24, and recently finished my masters in psychology. I’m into photography and I will make loads of awkward photos from you, be aware.

  1. Hi there! I will be in Nepal the 6th of September and also planning to do the Annapurna circuit (including the Tilicho ice lake). This will be my 3rd time in Nepal and also my 3rd trekking. Are you flexible with dates? I am planning to start the trek the 7th or the 8th of September departing from Kathmandu. Would be nice to have some company! And someone who can take akward pictures of me ofcourse ;). Let me know!

    • Hey! Very nice. I’m in Kathmandu from the 9th on, and since it’s my first time there I would like to explore the city and surroundings a bit. So my trekking will start a bit later than your suggested dates . If you’re still in Kathmandu when I’m there, we can have a drink maybe and share our plans and (your) knowledge about trekking in Nepal?

  2. Hey y’all! I plan to to the Annapurna Circuit Trek soemtime around the middle of September, plan to arrive in Kathmandu around the same time. My plan is to do the trek without a guide, hopefully find walking partners. I dont have a fixed itinerary so I’m flexible with dates and pretty much everything else related to the trek as I have no time constraints as I plan to spend the next three months exploring and photographing this beautiful region.
Let me know what y’all think!

  3. Hey Simon,

I’m from the US. I am a retired ultrarunner and I was planning to start trekking the Annapurna Circuit about the same time as you. I was wondering if you were up a side trip to the Mustang Region? I hike 1/2 the Annapurna circuit 10 years ago and have always regretted not going to Mustang. Also since we are hiking a little early in the season there will still be a lot of rain. Mustang is in a rain shadow and then rejoining the AC maybe the rain will have cleared.
