Annapurna Circuit Trek

Hi all. I am embarking on the Annapurna circuit trek at a leisurely pace (with couple of rest days to acclimatise to altitude and do side treks to lakes) from 10 March for 19 days. I an staying in Pokhara from March 3-10. I have booked Mani Kumar, a highly experienced Nepali guide who is fluent in English. He comes highly recommended by UK friends and him and I have been in touch consistently. I have set budget as guide price only (shared out) we have Yo pay for our own permits and accommodation and food etc. I am looking for others (two or three) to join if these plans fit yours!

  1. Hey Emily,

My name is Jen, and I am planning on doing the AC around the same time and pace.

I fly to Kathmandu on 9 March then hoping to get all my permits sorted on the following day so that I can catch a bus to Besi Sahar on the 11th. Would you be willing to start a day later?

    A little about me:
I’m 28 and from the States (California). I work for a non-profit that takes young adults on service-learning projects in National Parks and other public lands across the US. I enjoy rock climbing and exploring new places.

Thanks, and hope to hear back from you soon!

  2. Hi Emily and Jen!

I am arriving in KTM on the 7th and have a similar plan. I will probably spend a couple of days exploring the city and then set out for the trek. I am still trying to sort out my plans, but perhaps they will align!

  4. Hi all. Still looking for two or three people to join me for the circuit starting from Monday. It has been closed from Manang onwards because of heavy snow but we hope by the time we make it there it will be re opened! Mani my guide and I are in touch about this. These conditions are all the more reason to trek with a highly experienced winter trained guide! As stated I will share his 40 dollars a day fee fairly with whoever joins me, and we pay accommodation and food etc as we go. Please write here or email me asap. I am staying in Pokhara at the moment. Thanks. Emily
