Annapurna Circuit Trek

Hi, my name is David and I’m from the West-Midlands in England and I’ve planned to do the Annapurna Circuit Trek at the end of November.

I have done a little trekking before, have average fitness, but this will be my first time solo in another country and over so many days so I would be happy to have some company along the way!

My preference is to travel independently (without guide/porter) but can be flexible on this. My flights are booked (arriving in Kathmandu on Saturday 24th November, departing Sunday 9th December) so I would be looking to start the journey from KTM on 25th Nov after getting permits/etc. the day before.

My rough itinerary would be something like this :

Day 1 (25/11) to Day 6 (30/11) – Kathmandu to Manang (starting either in Besisahar or Bhulbhule, Upper Pisang trail along the way etc.)
Day 7 (01/12) – Acclimatisation day in Manang (maybe a side trip to Ice Lake)
Day 8 (02/12) to Day 10 (04/12) – Manang to Mukinath (overnights at Yak Kharka/Thorong Phedi – crossing at Thorong La Pass)
Day 11 (05/12) to Day 13 (07/12) – Mukinath to Pokhara (either via bus/jeep/flight from Jomsom weather permitting)
Day 14 (08/12) or 15 (09/12) return to Kathmandu

If you’re interested in partnering up, even if its only for part of the trail if you have plans to do ABC or other trips, let me know!

David

    • Hi Altona. Are you still looking for someone to trek with?

  2. hey david! i’m planning the same trek at the same time! I also want to do it without a porter & guide. I’d love to join you on this if you’re still looking for a partner. 🙂

    • Hi,
I am a solo ranger from Bangladesh and planning to do trek at last week of November. I am a slow trekker and a budget traveler. I would like to do this as inexpensively as possible. I am super flexible with everything.
Let me know if you want to pair up.. The last thing I visited Nepal ago. Anyway, Hope to find someone as my next trip partner at Nepal…..

Hit me up if we can do this together.

      Thanks.
      Dip.

  3. Hi David
Thanks for the post. I too will be in Kathmandu on 25th November and looking to do a trek. I did a bit of trekking in Ladakh in September but though reasonably fit I am not a seasoned trekker. If that sounds of interest please let me know.

  4. Hi David. I’m also planning this for the 24 or 25. Please let me know if you would like some company. I have never trekked before but I have a good level of fitness.
