Annapurna Circuit Trek

My name is Janna and I’m from San Digo, California. I arrive in Kathmandu on October 21st and I plan to start the Annapurna Circuit on approximately October 24th.

A few words about me: I’m 30 years old, have been working in the finance field in California the last few years but I recently left it all behind for international travel 🙂 I love nature and being outdoors and I have a passion for fitness – I have been doing a lot of strenuous training hikes this year to prepare for Nepal. I have done similar treks to this in other parts (Spain, Patagonia) but never anything at such high altitude and never been to Nepal.

I would say that my pace is medium/moderate or maybe a little fast but not super fast. I am happy to slow down if my pace is too fast for the group. I am planning to approach this trek slowly since I don’t want to have any issues with the altitude. I was supposed to do this trek with a partner but he had to cancel due to a last minute emergency, so just looking for some people to walk with and share the journey with 🙂

I wasn’t planning on hiring a guide/porter, just looking to find other people to walk with to share the time and so I’m not alone, however I may be open to hiring a guide if I am with a group who wants to do so.

If you are interested in linking up or chatting please let me know. I should also add that I would ideally like to connect with other female trekking partners, however I would be open to potentially trekking in a group with females/males.

  1. Hi Janna,
I want to do the Annapurna Circuit too. Probably for more like 12 days but we could always split near the end? I am fairly fit but am similar to you that I want to acclimatise and stop to take photos too!

I am 22 years old and from England. I would do the trek alone but I would like to start it with someone.

Please message me back to let me know your thoughts

  2. Hi Janna,

My name is Fang, I plan to do Annapurna Circuit and Annapurna Base trekking together, around 30 days as i don’t wanna be in a rush. I’m already in Kathmandu now and also looking for a trekking partner for the same reason as you mentioned, if you are interested in trekking together, pls message me so we could meet n discuss all details.

About me: I’m 29 n I live in Beijing, I like traveling and sports, I have done some trekking before in other countries( Laos, Alps, Tibet), I love walking around, that’s a relaxation to me, I’ve been to 20+ countries so far n feel excited to see what’s gonna happen this time in Nepal, I’m gonna stay here for 2 month as after trekking I would like to try some drifting camp, meditation course….just so many things to do in Nepal!

Looking forward to hearing back from you!
