Annapurna Circuit Trek

Hi fellow trekkers,

My name is Jo, I am 31, from England and live in London. I am having a break before I start my new job (I am a midwife) to trek the circuit and then travel around North India. I have wanted to trek in the Himalayas for a long time and excited I am finally getting to do it! I have some previous experience of trekking including once at high altitudes (Kilimanjaro) and would say I’m fairly fit. My original hiking partner has broken her shoulder and had to cancel so I am on the hunt for a new one(s)!

I arrive in Kathmandu on the morning of the 22nd September and plan to start 23rd/24th September then sightsee in Kathmandu at the end (but could swap this around). I am planning to follow the NATT trials going as far as Jomsom. Along with acclimatization days I am allowing 12-16 days.

Let me know if these dates appeal.

  1. Hi Jo,

I’m Kashyap, 27 years old, from Calcutta, India.

I’ll reach Pokhara on the 25th and plan on starting the trek from the 26th.

Let me know if we could trek together.

  2. Hi Jo,
I hope this isn’t too late, I am planning to get on a bus to Besisahar tomorrow, then keep up to Syange and start the trail on Monday the 25th, and have route mapped out for me by a guide agency that should have it done between 11-13 days, ending in Jomsom and getting a bus to Pokhara from there.
I am 21, reasonably fit, did my first trek last week for 6 days in Langtang NP and it went really well so I don’t think I will slow you down.
I am open to all plans, the only deadline I have is I have to be back in Kathmandu by the 8th/9th of October.
Please let me know if this works for you, looking forward to hearing back hopefully.
