Annapurna Circuit Trek

Hi Guys,

My name is Andrew Mills- from Cork, Ireland. I will be arriving in Kathmandu on the 11th February 2017 and will be leaving on the 12th March 2017 again from Kathmandu. I am taking 2.5 months off between jobs to trek in Nepal and then explore South East Asia! Would be looking to meet people out there and would be looking for partners to trek the Annapurna Circuit approximately between the dates 19th/20th February to 5th March 2017 (But these dates are flexible!). I was originally going to trek with a friend of mine from Canada but he may now have to fly home early or not make it out to Nepal at all (Will find out in the next few days!). Would love to hear from anyone that is up for hitting the trail between those dates or dates around the time I am in Nepal!

I plan to begin the trek at besi sahar or Bhulbule. Will work that out once I arrive in Kathmandu. I also have been considering finishing up at Jomsom and getting a bus from this point onwards to Pokhara but would be flexible about this (Again- will see once I am on the ground there!). I would be very flexible to be honest so feel free to hit me up with your plans or just to hang out in Kathmandu!

All the best,

  1. Hi Andrew

I’m Petter from Sweden. I’m also on a little brake from work and have a similar schedule to yours. I’ll arrive in Kathmandu Feb 13th and have to leave again March 6th.

I’m also looking for a partner or group to do the Annapurna circuit with!

I’m very flexible with exact routes/dates/pace etc. Always open to suggestions. I heard the last bit from Jomsom might not be so nice anymore since it will be mainly walking along the dirt road. But it’s always best to improvise a bit once you’re there I’d say!

Let me know if you’d like to talk more and maybe make some plans!

    • Hi Petter,

Great to hear from you! I am not yet certain of the trekking plan but if you send me an email at we can keep in touch via email and hopefully can get a plan together!

      Safe travels to Kathmandu!

  2. Hello Andrew! How are you doing? I’m arriving in Katmandu on Feb 21 afternoon and I’m looking for a partner to do one of the treks. I still have to buy some clothes and a sleeping bag in town, so probably I’d be ready to start around the 23rd. Do you think you could wait? If you think it will be too late, its ok.

Hope to hear from you soon.

    All the best,

  3. Hi Andrew and other follow ups here 🙂 I’m planning on heading out the 21st as well. And i’d love to be back in kathmandu or Pohkara for the Holi festival on Sunday the 12th. I think it would be a really fun way to end the trek. Maybe we can meet up in kathmandu to say hi and swap ideas. talk soon. Rebecca

  8. Hi Andrew, I’m currently in Thamel and planning to leave for the AC trek on the 20th or 21st. If you’re still heading out around then, it would be great to walk with and know someone on the trail. Let me know if you’d like to meet up!
