Annapurna Circuit Trek

I am a Canadian looking to hike the circuit in May. I am hoping to find someone who isn’t under time constraints and would entertain the idea of staying a couple extra days in some of the villages along the way.

  1. Hey Dana! I’m look at doing the circuit in late April/early May, but I am probably going to only do half of it – from Besisahar – Makinath/Jomsom. Pretty much what this girl did, without the Annapurna Base Camp after Makinath:

I’m looking to fly into Kathmandu, stay for a couple of days, then take the bus to Besisahar. I’m totally open to staying a couple of days in some villages along the way, especially to acclimate to the altitude. Let me know if you want to meet up!

    • Hey Sandra ,

My plan is just exactly like yours. You can check my trip post .. Lets me know if you want to meet in KAthamndu

      Cheers 😉

    • Hey Dana, Sandra, and Omar. I have a very similar plan for the Anapurna circuit, including taking some extra days for detours or side trips in the villages.

I think I would want to do the entire circuit, but I’m not sure right now. If anything, it’d ne great to have some company through Jomsom.

Let me know if any of you want to meet in KTM and talk details.

  2. Hey Dana,

I am also planning to Annapurna Circuit Trek in early May. I will be reaching Kathmandu on April 29th and my plan is to stay there for few days and then head to Besishar and start the hike. I am not under any time constrained and I can devote easily three weeks for this this trip.
Let me know if it works for you.

  3. Hi Dana,

Are you fixed on early May? I’m interested in leaving mid/late April, and also quite keen to hang out in the villages a bit.

  4. Hey Dana

It sounds perfect. Even I don’t have time constraints. I have trekked till Poon Hill before. I want to do the complete Circuit.
