Annapurna Circuit Trek

Hi there,

My name is Manuel, from Spain, I arrive to Kathmandu on 27th November and I am planning to do Annapurna circuit trek.

My initials plans is to do it independently without any guide, but I am open to hire one.

The idea is start in Besisahar and walk to Jomsom, and then take the plane to Phokara, I think it could be around 12 days.

Let me know if someone is interested in join me.

  1. Have you ever considered doing Manaslu Circuit which is less overrun and more authentic? I plan to leave 20th or 28th November from Kathmandu. It’ll take around 16 days and I would like to clime a small peak also.

    • Hi Erika, I think this time I prefer the AC, but Manaslu must be nice also, the next time 😉
If you change your plan and want to join to AC let me know.

  2. Dear Manuel, that’s okay. Annapurna is great. Make sure you take the alternative to the road and if possible do the side trips to Tilico Lake and Ice Lake. It’s great. I’ve done it twice already.

    • Hi! Could you tell me whether it is possible to do the Annapurna Circuit without a guide? Is it possible to get the TIMS permit without a guide?

  3. Hi Katrina,
You can obtain the TIMS card and the ACAP from the Tourism Information Board Office at Kathmandu.
