Annapurna Circuit Trek

Hello everyone,

I will arrive in Kathmandu on the 24th of May and I would like to make a trek of around 10days maybe more depending on the weather and my physical conditions.

The plan would be to leave around the 30th or so for the annapurna panorama trek which is one of the easiest and which take around 6days but can be extended till the base camp.
This is my first trek but I have a good physical condition. I would like to make this trek without a guide since the trek is quite easy and the path is well indicated.
I am flexible about the dates and I am just looking for nice partners that would be interested in such a trip !
Let me know if you are up for it 🙂

  1. Hey, Nicolas!

I arrive in Kathmandu on the 28th and would be ready to head out after a couple of days. I would be most interested in doing the full circuit trek, but you might not have the time? I’m open for maybe taking another route.

I’m in no sense an experienced trekker myself, but I’m up for a challenge. And I agree about not using a guide. Let me know what you.

    Best regards,
    Thomas

    • Hey Thomas !

I would have loved to make the whole circuit but I have to leave mid-June. Plus, I’ve read on the lonely planet that this is not the best season to do it because of leeches and landslide.
Hence I am rethinking about my plan and would probably take a guide for the annapurna base camp. It’s a trek of around 10days and he would charge 20$ per day.
If ever you are interested you are welcome to join and share the cost. Otherwise I wish you to find a partner to make the circuit !

      Best regards,

    • That’s too bad! Yeah, we’re definitely entering the off-season as we speak, but hopefully it won’t be too bad. I’ll let you know if my plans changes. All the best, and good luck!
