Annapurna Circuit + Annapurna Basecamp
I am a 29 year old, experienced hiker. I’m also a fast-walking New Yorker 🙂
I’ve done multi-day trekking at altitude in the Alps, Andes, Sierra Nevada, and in New Zealand. Some of them solo.
Currently, I will be traveling in Nepal solo. I might be able to get some friends on-board but I’m planning for myself.
I’ll do the classic AC up until Ghorepani, where I’ll connect with the route to Annapurna Basecamp. Though I hike at a fast pace, I’m giving myself 3 weeks in the Annapurna Conservation Area to take it all in. There’s no need to rush. I plan to do some side trips outside of the AC route as well. My itinerary is very flexible, and can judge my teahouse stops based on how I feel. If you’re interested in hiking with me we can chat and get more specific.
My start date is also flexible. I get into Kathmandu on March 1st, and plan to fly to Pokhara the next day.
A little about me…
I’m a digital product designer. That’s a fancy way of saying I help design mobile apps and websites. I’m grew up in the foothills of Los Angeles and now live in NYC, where there is no nature. I went to art school and will have a sketchbook with me on the trek. I turn 30 at the end of April so this trip is the “mic drop” on my 20’s.
Hit me up if you’re interested in walking the trail together!Reply
