Annapurna Circuit, after Gokyo Lakes, EBC

hi,
I hope to arrive in Ktm about 17-20th September spend a few days then hit the road for the Annapurna circuit, now I done this trek 22 years ago & it took me about 21 days, I hope to re-trace my steps with a side trip to Tilicho Lake, starting in Besishar & finishing in Pokhara,

I assume I’ll need a rest period say a week or so & then heading off to the Khumbu, if anyone is interested to join me please feel free to drop me a line,

Now about me! very easy going english guy I’ll be 60 on 15th september hence my re-tracing my steps from so long ago!, non smoker, I love football, travelling, I love to hear other peoples tales from their travels,

I’m quite fit for my age I think, although do have arthritic knees! I have a great sense of humour both self deprecating & gentle piss taking of others!

I’ve been lucky enough to have travelled a bit in africa, south america , worked in the middle east, I am open to all cultures ,

On this trip, I really want to get up close to Kanchenjunga, this will be a long trek, maybe difficult to achieve as I would like to do with a small group or one person, as a a guide and special permit are required, if I dont get the permit I still intend to go as far east as is legally and feasibly possible alone,

So if anyone is interested to join me in any part of my trip please feel free to contact me,
Regards
Bernie

  2. Hey Bernie,
I’ve responded back on your note on my partner request link – our timings could be good for your EBC/Gokyo leg in mid-Oct. I have a suspicion we may get on pretty well – depending on what football team you support 🙂 Seriously though – I think we may have quite a similar subtle piss-taking sense of humour.
You can reach me directly at lachlan.jones@foundation-aus.com if you want to discuss itinerary in more detail.
    Cheers,
