Annapurna Base Camp Trek
Hiya , Namasté travellers…
Im looking for hikers to team up with to do the Annapurna Base camp/Sanctuary Trail including Ghorepani/Poon Hill taking 9-12 days depending.
I arrive Pokahara the 5th and envision starting Oct 8th and being back the 18/19th at the latest to catch a flight the 20th.
There is not much wiggle room due to my arrival and flight out, but in between im flexible.
Ive done this treck before, a while back and remember it taking around 10 days.
Im easygoing, like to laugh, have travelled ALOT, and am fit-and travel Teahouse, backpackerstyle.I speak English, German,French some Spanish, ect…
if this resonates with you please share your info, would be great connect!

Hi Isabelle! I’m Yanlin living in Zurich Switzerland. Very happy to see your post!
I will be staying in Nepal from Sept 25th until Oct 11th. I am also planning to do the Annapurna Sanctuary Trail including Poon Hill. I will arrive Pokahara on the 28th Sep, a couple of days earlier than you. If you want we could keep in touch and see if we manage to catch up:) Also it’s my first time to be in Nepal. I would be very grateful if you could give me some advice about the trekking:)
Yanlin

Hi Isabelle! I am Sarthak from India. I am planning to do ABC trek with 3 of my friends starting 7th Oct. We are a group of a total 4, two people from India and 2 local Nepalese.
I will be reaching Pokhara on 5th Oct. It would be fun to travel with a larger group with diversity. Let me know if your group is interested to join us on 7th Oct for the trek. We have 2 local guys who can be very helpful.
HI Sarthak, Thanks for writing! That sounds like perfekt timing, I will also arrive Pokahara the 5th and wanted to leave the 7th or 8th. So far the group is just me but I would love to join up-are you also considering Poon Hill? Do you do Whats App?If so, my number is (41 Switz) 77 453 3590, we could chat further. Also, after Nepal I will go to Varnassi for Diwalli-very looking forward to it!
Hi Isabelle, my name is Rosie Clarke and I’m looking to do the Annapurna trail you’ve mentioned! I’ve been looking at a few different trekking trails and your itinerary literally sounds amazing. I’m from the UK but currently in Kathmandu and would be free from the 6th October (would be in Pokhara at this time, but can be free from the 5th if needed) until the 7th November so your timings would work out perfectly! Please let me know if you’re still planning on doing this circuit, would love to hear back from you 🙂 I’ve messaged you on WhatsApp so you should have my number – might come under Roseanne Clarke

Hi Isabelle. Can I come too? 🙂 Maybe you have enough of a possie already? Anyway, I am actually already in Pokhara, doing some online work and hanging out. I am looking to do Annapurna in October but would really like some fun company. I am by myself at the moment. I will try to WhatsApp you.
Sounds good, sure-why not, sounds like it would be a fun time!

Hello Isabelle
This is short notice but I am setting off on the Annapurna Base Camp trek (with Mardi Himal included) tomorrow – 8 Nov. I think I am planning a 10 day trip with Mardi Himal and ABC but not Poon Hill. I have already organised a guide who I have commited to – but some extra company would be good.
I am 50, fit and well, walk at a steady pace up to 6 hours (but not without a break or two!). I speak English and have a relaxed attitude with a decent sense of humour.
Let me know if you are still looking at options and this may work for you.
Phil
Ah. I’ve just seen that I got my date wrong – I am setting off tomorrow which is 7 Nov (not 8 Nov) – it’s a good sign that I don’t know what day it is!
Oh dear – I meant October – wow I must have chilled out to forgotten what month it is!
Hey Phil, we- an international Group of six now are setting off later-Sat the 8th, trying to avoid the heavier rain, and shooting for clear skies for poon hill- but there’s a good chance we may run into each other along the way, we might also do Mardi himal on the way down.
Hi Isabelle – thanks for the reply and the WhatsApp message – I hope the rain improves. Perhaps see you the trail. Hope you all have a good one.
