Annapurna Base Camp Trek May-June 2019
Hi ! I am planning to go to Nepal on mid May (16th-ish) to mid June and maybe do the trek on May 19th (flexible) 2019 for about 12 days in total. I will be traveling on my own so I am looking for a partner (or two, or three) to trek the ABC with me so we could split up the cost, and of course it’ll be more fun to trek with some mates.

Hi Made, I did the Annapurna Circuit last year solo, and met travellers at the starting point in Besi Sahar that I ended up trekking the entire route with (and amazing experience). You’ll be fine, you will meet loads of like minded travellers of all fitness levels and ages. Your pick 🙂 A good starting point would be one of the popular hostels in Kathmandu, where you will likely meet fellow trekkers heading the same direction. I actually made the mistake of trying to ease into Nepal by booking a single room in a hotel (not a hostel), but regretted it as it was harder to meet people. A good hostel in Kathmandu where you will easily meet people is called ‘Zostel’. I know, the name sounds cheesy, but it will be clean and friendly and you’ll definitely meet a trekking partner there within a day. Best wishes for your travels!
