Annapurna Base Camp Trek
I’m heading to Nepal to spend a month or so in Nepal and do a variety of treks. No set plans as yet but I know I want to do Annapurna. I will arrive in Pokhara around the 13th March, happy to meet fellow trekkers. I’m not wanting to join an organised tour, would rather hire a guide when I arrive. I’m happy to carry my own gear and really open to any sort of standard of accommodation.

I Natalya, I see you are looking for more of an organised group whereas I was planning on getting a local guide and going from there. We may not have similar plans….

Hi Emily, sounds great, I would most definitely be interested in doing EBC as well. Thinking of getting a local guide rather than an organised tour, is that along your lines of thought as well?

I will be in Nepal for two months in March and April 2018. I am also planning to do the Annapurna Curcuit and the Everest Base Camp Trek but my final plans are not set yet. If you are interested just get in touch with me 🙂
Hi Bastian, sounds good, our plans are very similar and I will be there for around the same amount of time. I haven’t come up with a definite plan yet but thinking of spending time in Pokhara as well
Hi, sounds great, I dont have a definite plan either except doing the Annapurna Circuit and my main goal is to see Mount Everest when it comes to anything else I am completely open-minded I just want to explore this beautiful country as much as I can and because of that I dont even set myself a time limit for this adventure 🙂

Hi Kim, i will be arriving in KTM on 02.03.18 and am looking at the AP and base camp trek, having already been to Nepal 3 years ago for the EBC trek. I would love to join a group are you fixed upon using a guide? Kind Regards Dipesh

Hi Kim, I’m also finalising my plans for this adventure. March will definitely be starting date, but still not decided on timeframe, 1 or 2 months?? Very interested in attempting with no porters or guides.
I am looking for like-minded trekkers for the Annapurna Base Camp Trek in late March 2018. Feel free to reply me if you plan to travel around the same period.
Here is my plan:
Flights Details:
Mumbai to Kathmandu – 24th March
Kathmandu to Mumbai – 8th April
Total – 16 days in Nepal.
Also, I might fly from Pokhara to Kathmandu and vice- versa.
PLAN:
24th March – Kathmandu (1 Night)
25, 26, 27 – Pokhara. (3 Nights)
28th March, 29, 30, 31, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6th April – ABC Trek. ( 10 days )
7th April – Kathmandu (1 Night)
8th April 12 PM Checkout
FYI – 31st March is a full moon day so I feel that the mountains would look better during the night.

Hey Kim, I am planning to do my own trek to Ebc and hoping for Goyko Lakes as well. I’ll be looking to hire an English speaking Porter. I have a flight booked to Lukla March 16th. Are you still going? Do you have firm dates?
Hi Ryan, still nothing firm as yet. I was looking at flying into Nepal on the 12 or 13 March. I’m not real keen on the idea of the flight to Lukla so was considering walking in. All still rather up in the air I’m afraid, open though
Don’t blame you, its a little sketchy, but statistically not that dangerous compared to some other things. I’m trying to arrange a porter/guide. Maybe i’ll see you out there.
Hi Kim,ebc I did already 2016 – nice. Now I would rather go Annapurna circuit, maybe in combination with upper mustang (permit us$500 ). Or manaslu circuit ( 12-20 days – depending on sidetrips). I could start after mar/11, coming from Pokhara. Let me know if you are still planning/ searching. I would need to arrange before feb/28 because offlinethen until mar/11.
