Annapurna Base Camp Trek
The plan is to leave from Pokhara sometime in the middle of December (I’m flexible with the days; probably sometime between the 15th and the 18th) and spend 4 days trekking to ABC and then 3 or 4 days hiking back down via Poon Hill.
This will be my third Himalayan trek. All of them have been done independently (without a guide or porter). Last year I trekked to Everest Base Camp solo, and a few weeks ago I trekked to Langtang and Gosainkund with some friends. I’m not looking for a guide or porter or interested in hiring them, just looking for another person or two to trek with. I’m not an insanely fast hiker (especially when I’m carrying a full pack, as I’ll be doing on this trek), but I’m faster than average. I’m a writer and will be spending a couple of hours at the end of each day writing.
I’m guessing that I’ll be spending around $25 a day (I eat a lot). I’m pretty flexible with the dates and budgets.
I’m 28. I’m a relaxed and relatively quiet person. I’m in Kathmandu for a few months and will be here before and after the trek. Let me know if you’re around and want to meet up beforehand.

Hello Trisan ! ,
I am interested in doing this trek , I’ll be arriving to Kathmandu on Dec 15th and Pokhara by 16th-16th Dec , I wanted to share a guide but I’m fine without one as you seem experienced..
It’s my first time doing a serious trek but I’m fit overall , I’m a bit worried about your “fast” pace but I would be glad to join if you can be flexible to slow down extending the trek by a day or so if I happen to struggle with acclimatization !
Thanks !
