Annapurna Base Camp Trek

I’m going to ABC as soon as possible and would love to find some companions for the trip. I’m already in Pokhara with a little flu so departure would be ideal around Dec. 1st or something.

I’m very flexible and relaxed, resiliant and strong – qualities I would appreciate in partners too. What I expect from the trek is simply to be in awe of the mighty mountains, challenge myself, enjoy and take advantage of extraordinary photo opportunities. I’m a photographer and my current project is night sky photos.

Due to photographing and my willingness to chill I would like to do the trek slowly, in about 14 days. I think of the route more as a meditative process than something to just run through. I also like to emphasize environmental issues and respect to local culture. I was planning to hire a female guide but due to economical issues I have decided to do this one as an independent trek, especially if I do not find any partners.

All in all, the aim is to have a safe, enjoyable trek. If there is someone with similar plans, please message me and we’ll see what happens!

  1. Hey Marika! I’m volunteering in Pokhara at the moment so my dates are flexible but I am also planning on starting the Annapurna base camp trek around the same time, and completely share your aims for taking in the scenery and enjoying the trek slowly. Let me know if your still looking for a trekking buddy!

  2. Hey, I’m coming to Pokhara on December 1st, I will get all the paper work on following day and I want to leave on December 3rd. I would also gladly appreciate any tips on night sky photography! Let me know if you want to go on the same date or a little bit later (I don’t think that I can make it earlier).
