Hi Carmen – I’m a world traveler focusing on fun adventures outdoors. Currently writing to you from Japan, but I’m heading to Taiwan, Hong Kong and Korea very soon. Did you know that those places have good trekking?
In any case, I’m a bit underprepared in terms of information about Nepal, but I know I want to be there and will love the environment. I’ll arrive mid-April sometime (negotiable) and don’t really have a date to leave, I can stay all the way until the end of Autumn if it makes sense.
Maybe we can chat about adventuring. 🙂 I’m traveling with pretty much all the gear I’d need for any of the treks.
I’m from Hong Kong – we have good trekking. Not crazy high mountains like Nepal. Two good and famous ones are Dragon’s Back, Lion Rock. The Maclehose Trail is a good multi-day one (tent camping) if you’re interested.
Are you interested in Annapurna Circuit? It’s a 16 day trek in Nepal. If so, I’m looking for folks to form a group!
Hi Carmen!
I just found out about the website. I’m looking to start ACT on May 1st as well.
About me: the longest I’ve trekked is 5 days. I’m of average fitness (been traveling for 8 months so it’s quite difficult to keep it up :-)). I enjoy an average pace when trekking – it’s more important I enjoy the journey than get to the top of a mountain ASAP.
It sounds like we’re quite similar based on wants. Happy to share more info about anything / everything. I’d love to join you!
Andrea
Hi Andrea,
I will also be looking to do ABC around beginning of may and we sound similar (travelling since october and trying to stay fit haha).
I am in Pokhara at the moment doing some work here.
Would be great to join you, if you are interested send me a message on here.
Thanks
Jade
Hey Carmen. Im Halley. Im flying from Oz to Kathmandu on 2nd May and keen to start walking asap. It’s all pretty last minute and I don’t know what’s entailed in solo hiking over there. If you do that’s great but I’d read up anyway obviously. I am 32, fit, funny, friendly and overall an introvert. Looking for some solitude and would love to not be swept up by the tourism madness. Give me a shout if you want to talk. I’ll be back in Oz and available to speak from Monday.
Heya Carmen, I’m Andrea 31 years old female from Mexico currently hiking in the Grand Canyon. I will land in Kathmandu on April 30 and want to start ABC as soon as possible. I’m a flexible and easy going person, can camp or stay at teahouses, personally I would like to hike independently (no porters or guides) but would like to join a group. This will be my first time in Nepal and after ABC I’m traveling to Himachal Pradesh on the first week of June for some more hiking so I’m interested to join your group in India too Vivek. You all can find me at Zostel Hostel in Kathmandu after april 30th. I’m looking forward to hear back from you.
Hi,
I am also looking to do the ABC independently but with a group also looking to start around the beginning of may.
I am in Pokhara at the moment doing some work here. I am 25 fairly fit (been travelling since october – a bit hard to stay on top of it haha) easy going and up for a laugh
Would be great to join you.
Thanks
Jade
