All roads point to Everest !!!!
Hi looking for some like minded people/person to join me on a trek around Everest Region. I arrive in Kathmandu on the 12th Feb and will organise permits on the 13th and then catch bus out to Jiri the following morning. Wish to hike in from Jiri rather than fly into Lukla, better acclimatisation and besides I have the time so why not. I will therefore reach Lukla on the 19th Feb. From there I will make my way to EBC, and then continue on and combine the 3 passes and Gokyo which ends back in Lukla. If willing and able I will then hike out to Tumlingtar.
I hike at a steady even pace with an average day consisting of 7 hours hiking plus additional time for a couple of small breaks. Will be hiking independently no porters or guide. Have previously hiked Annapurna Circuit, Annapurna Sanctuary & Manasalu & Tsum Valley.

Hey I am in Kathmandu right now as well. I plan to hire a car to Jiri on Friday (14/02/2014) morning. Do you want to split it? Shouldn’t be that expensive and much better than the bus. I’m just planning to go to Pikey Peak (already been up past Lukla before) and then explore some other valleys in the area.
