Day 01: Airport / Rathnapura
Arrive in Sri Lanka, you will be welcomed and greeted by representative of “Black Coral Travels” and transferred to your hotel in Rathnapura. In the Evening, You will have a city tour of Rathnapura city

Rathnapura is the world famous gem city. From Colombo drive 101 km through every shade and tone of rich green and yellow green of rubber plantations, paddy fields and tea estates to reach Rathnapura- the city of Gems. It is the most famous gemming locality in Sri Lanka. At the National Museum, Gemological Museum, the Rathnapura Gem Bureau and Museum or in many other gem workshops in Rathnapura, one can get the rare opportunity to see a variety of precious stones being cut and polished in the traditional way.

Day 02: Rathnapura / Udawalawe
After breakfast transfer for Udawalawe. Visit to Elephant Transit Home (Eth AthuruSevana).

UdawallaweTranist Home is a centre for rehabilitation and re-integration of orphaned wild elephant has been established at Udawallawe National Park by the Department of Wildlife Conservation.

At evening you will have “Safari Jeep Tour” with professional Adventure guide at Udawallawe National Park.It is situated in the dry zone. It is very well known for its outstanding scenic beauty and wealth of fauna species, particularly mammals and birds. In addition 39 species of mammals and 183 species of birds have been recorded. One of the main attractions of this park is the opportunity to view elephants at a really close range. You could be witness populations of sambhar, spotted deer, barking deer, wild boar, water buffalo common langur, jackal, sloth bear, leopard, black napped hare, endemic golden palm civet and mongoose are some of the animals that can be sighted at this National Park. Udawalawe is also well known bird watching area. Rare visitors and breeding residents such as the Indian cormorant and osprey can be found on the reservoir. You could be see notable endemic species. Including the Sri Lanka junglefowl, Sri Lanka spurfowl, malabar pied hornbill, Sri Lanka grey hornbill and brown-capped babbler.

Day 03: Udawalawe / Ella
After breakfast transfer to Ella.

Ella is popular paragliding and adventure destination. It is in leeward hills at a height of 975m above sea level, has mild, cool climate. You will witness Ella Gap, Mini Adam’s Peak, Ella Rock and Rawnaella Falls. Sight here, has links with the Rama and Sita, legend of the Indian epic poem, the Ramayanaya.

Day 04: Ella / NuwaraElliya
After breakfast transfer to NuwaraElliya. You will have “Unforgettable Train Tour” from Ella to NuwaraElliya.

NuwaraEliya is land of peace and silence. The nostalgia of the empire builders is reflected in NuwaraEliya. Sri Lanka’s highest mountain Pidurutalagala (8282 feet) is located here. One of the finest 18 hole golf courses in South Asia is also situated in NuwaraEliya. It is also the heart of Sri Lanka’s tea country producing a significant share of the world s best tea.The ‘Little England’ of Sri Lanka, is set against beautiful backdrops of Mountains, Valleys, Waterfalls and Tea Plantations. It is supposed to be one of the coolest places in the Island. NuwaraEliya is Sri Lanka’s most popular hill resort.

Afterwards Proceed to Kandy. Evening you will have a city tour of Kandy. Thereafter visit to The Temple of the Tooth, with its guardian elephants is a deeply significant Buddhist site that contains a tooth of Buddha collected from his funeral pyre and draws thousands of pilgrims from across the world. After, you could be entertained with a spectacular Sri Lankan cultural show.

At evening you will have city tour of NuwaraEliya City.

Day 05: Nuwara Eliya / Horton Plains
After breakfast transfer to Horton Plains.

Horton plains National park is located on a high windswept saddle at about 2134 meters above the sea level. The plains are an expanse of misty grassland with scraggy trees and ice-cold rivulets. Spanning approx: 10,000 hectares the park is also home to a wide variety of flora and 24 species of mammal such as elk, deer, giant squirrel, wild boar, wild hare, porcupine and leopards. For bird enthusiasts, there 87 species, including many migratory birds. The plains also feature many interesting attraction such as “Baker’s Waterfall”, “Chimney Pool” and famous “World’s End”. Day 06: Nuwara Eliya / Kitulgala / Kandy

Day 07: Kandy / knuckles
After breakfast transfer to Knuckles.The Knuckles Range and the surrounding areas have been declared as a strict natural reserve. The hills to the northeast were given the English name because of the distinctive clenched – hand profile seen from a distance. These forests, in turn, harbor a number of wildlife species Such as leopard, sambhur, barking deer, mouse deer, wild boar, giant squirrel, purple-faced langur, toque macaque and loirs.

Day 08: Kandy / Dambulla / Sigiriya
After breakfast transfer to Dambulla.ambulla cave Temple is a World Heritage Site. This is the largest and best preserved cave temple complex in Sri Lanka. There are many paintings in these caves and which are related to Lord Buddha, his life and Buddha’s previous births. Some of them are over 200 years old. Within the caves temple is the collection of the largest number of Buddha statues in one place. There is also a recumbent Buddha caved out of the living rock, some 14m long.

Thereafter transfer to Sigirira by Bicycle. Evening you will climb on Sigiriya.

Sigiriya is built by King Kasyapa (AD 477-495) and is possibly Sri Lanka’s premier tourist attraction. You will be explore this site that boasts incredibale gardens and cave in addition to the iconic Sigiriya Frescoes and the summit can be reached following a fairly demanding, but easily achievable climb. Not to be missed is the mirror wall the outer gardens, moat and the majestic entrance to the palace via a Lion’s Mouth. Sigiriya, a World Heritage Site was keen contestant to be declared one of the ‘new’ Seven of the World in 2007.

Day 09: Habarana / Ritigala / Hurulu eco – park
After breakfast transfer to Ritigala. Ritigala is a one of the best mountain forest area in dry zone. It has high bio-diversity. The wild life in this Strict Nature Reserve includes leaf-eating monkeys, leopards, sloth bear and elephants. This is also well known as a one of a best bird watching area in dry zone. The area, rich in unusual plants and herbs, is associated with Ramayanaya Story in which Hanuman dropped a section herb – covered Himalaya here

At evening you will have “Nature Tour” with professional Naturalist and Set on an exclusive private jeep safari at Hurulu Eco – Park. You can witness Wild Elephants, Buffalos, Birds and other Sri Lankan wild animals.

Day 10: Habarana / Kalpitiya
After breakfast transfer Kalpitiya. Kalpitiya is one of a famous costal resort in Sri Lanka. Fourteen unspoiled islands basking in the sun, rimmed by the blue waters of the Indian Ocean and wide sandy beaches waiting to be discovered. Presently the attraction is the Dolphin and Whale population which could be watched without sailing out to the deep seas. You could entertain with beautiful beach resort.
