2-3 day Appalachian Trail trek (in the VA-MD-WV-PA area)

I’m looking for one or more fun-loving hikers to join me on a 2-3 day hike on the Appalachian Trail. I’m in Washington, DC, so I can most easily get to VA, MD, WV, and PA sections of the trail. I don’t like to hike out-and-back if I can avoid it, so I’m hoping to use two cars (I have one), and leave one at the endpoint to allow us to do a one-way hike. I’m not looking to break any land speed records, but I’d like to cover a decent amount of ground. Probably about 12-15 miles a day. I’ve tried to cover ~18 miles/day on the AT in this area and found it to be difficult to maintain.
