I’ll be in and out of Kathmandu and EBC for nearly 21 days. The trek is two weeks and will be doing a lot of photography and enjoying the sights of Kathmandu prior and after the trek…always good to meet new people and not sure of the crowds in Kathmandu/Nepal in March…from North America and enjoy meeting new people. Hey Chris,
I am arriving on 5th March and doing the three passes trek in the Everest region. It is longer than EBC but a lot more mountain time and not as crowded. Much better photo opportunities apparently. I am a bit of a photographer as well so that is important to me! I am looking a hiring a guide and have been in contact with a few other travelers that are interested. Dont know how long you have but I want to walk from Jiri aswell so that is longer. Im a 24 y.o Physio from New Zealand. Laid back and easy going…all of that jazz. If you are keen, drop me a line. Hi Guys,
I was going to start the trek from Jiri (leaving Kathmandu on the 4th), but can delay till 5th. If that suits you. Would much rather trek with like minded folks. Out of interest, what prompted you to look for a guide, is it because the trek is slightly off the beaten track? How much is the guide likely to cost?

Hi everyone,
I am a 27 year old Irish male currently based in Kathmandu, and interested in finding trekking partners going towards EBC in the next few days. I am easygoing and pretty flexible with routes (e.g Jiri or Lukla). Was thinking of trekking independently and using porters at higher ground, if needed.
