Manaslu is one of the lesser travelled region as compared to Annapurna and Everest partly because it more challenging than the others.
This trek begins with the drive to Aarughat, Gorkha from Kathmandu. You start comfortably through the lush valleys and rice paddy fields along the banks of Budi Gandaki River.
The following days, you’ll pass through dense forests with small villages here and there. There are hot springs in the way. You can enjoy that too if you want.
Tea house treks have certain distances to cover each day as there’re fewer hotels as you go higher. Some of these days can be quite long walk but the itinerary is designed keeping an average walker in mind so, it should not be a problem.
Larkya la pass is the highest point of this trek. At 5300 m height, the trail to larkya la pass is very steep but the rewards are majestic views of Annapurna II, Cheo Himal, Himlung Himal from the pass.
Its mostly downhill from there ending the trek at Besisahar. You take a bus to Kathmandu the following day.
