Trekking through beautiful landscape of “Annapurna Sanctuary”.
Passing through Machhapuchhere base camp.
Take bath in natural hot spring in Jhinu Danda.
Amazing sunrise view and panoramic Mountain View from Poonhill.
Mesmerizing view of beautiful mountains like Machhapuchhere, Himchuli, Dhaulagiri, etc.
Visiting gurung and magar locality.
Mt. Annapurna (8091m) is the tenth highest mountain in the world and the trip to its base camp is a standout amongst the most prominent treks. The magnificent Annapurna range includes one peak over 8,000 m, thirteen peaks over 7,000 m and sixteen peaks over 6,000 m. Annapurna Base Camp was initially discovered by the British traveler Col James O.M. “Jimmy” Roberts on 1956 and announced to the world as the ‘Sanctuary of Gods’. The Sanctuary then turned into the “Annapurna Sanctuary”. There is less number of treks which includes such a wide variety of landscapes and takes you so close to the base of 8,000 and 7,000 meter mountains within a short duration as the Annapurna Base Camp Trek does. AY Adventure is glad to manage Annapurna Base Camp Trek (4130m.) for you to provide you an unforgettable lifetime experience. The 14-days package is set for the trekkers who might want to trek to the base camp of Annapurna yet are confined time-wise. It is appropriate for both the beginner level and experienced trekker.
As any other trek in the Annapurna region, this trek also starts from Pokhara, which is famous as the “Lake City” and goes through beautiful waterfalls, tranquil landscape, terraced farmlands, delightful magar and gurung villages, rich rhododendron forests, mesmerizing mountains and so much more to the base of Mt Annapurna. Most of the mountains of the western region of enormous Annapurna include Machhapuchchhre, Hiunchuli, Fang, Annapurna South, Annapurna, Annapurna 3 and Gangapurna, which are aligned in such a way, that they have a width across of around 10 miles. While trekking you can walk five to seven hours every day and spend the night at the lodges. You can have a magnificent view from Poonhill which is famous for the best sunrise view. And as you return through Jhinu Danda, you can give your tired muscles a well-deserved rest in the amazing hot springs. The locals here believe that this natural hot water heals body ache.
As we talk about the difficulty of this trek, it can be done easily by beginner level trekkers, doesn’t require extreme physical fitness level and it can be done independently as well. The Annapurna Base Camp Trek can be done in all seasons, nonetheless, in the winter the Base Camp can be closed sometimes high due to the snow level. On spring season the huge rhododendron forests are in full bloom which gives the trek an extra appeal.

With great pleasure, Nepal Adventure pilgrimage offers you the Tsum ValleyTrek, which is opened recently to foreigners in 2007. The most significant attribute of this trek is the high altitude, the Tibetan culture where locals still follow polyandry system and Bon religion. The Tsum Valley is enclosed by the Ganesh Himal to the south, Buddha Himal and Himal Chuli to the west, and Sringi Himal to the North. It is believed that great Buddhist Guru Milarepa had once meditated in the mountain caves of this valley, so it is also known to be one of the eight sacred valleys (called Beyuls) in the inner Himalayas and a home to a pilgrimage. Tsum is derived from the Tibetan word “Tsombo”, meaning vivid. As the name implies, its natural scenic views and richness in Tibetan culture, art and religion makes it a remarkable and vivid haven.
Only a few numbers of travelers have made it into this astounding valley, which used to be an important trade link with Tibet. As it is a remote destination, this divine valley has been untouched by mainstream peoples for generations which have resulted in the unique culture of this valley to be intact. The region once being part of Tibet looks totally different from what you will find elsewhere. The general population of Tsum Valley or the Tsumbas belongs to Tibetan origin with their own antiquated type of lingo, society, art and religion. On the way of this trip, you can have the traditional Tibetan tea (butter tea) and local meal. The Buddhist monks accompany the groups of trekkers.
The Tsum Valley has a long history of Buddhism and its path is covered with artistic Chortens and lined with Mani walls made of large number of stone slabs carved with deities and prayers. It consists of less steep climbing and more hiking. Although the overall Tsum Valley Trek is adventurous, it is not so difficult to pass and one can have the views of glorious mountain ranges. Walking beside Budi Gandaki River, the path follows beautiful forest, hilly villages and terraced fields. Additionally, you can experience glacial rivers, alpine forests and hospitable peoples on this trek. As you hike, you will pass these beautiful neighborhoods namely Jagat, Rachen Gompa, Mu Gompa, Philim and some other beautiful places where you can enjoy its serenity. The Tsum Valley Trek is suitable for all kinds of trekkers. You can trek around March to May and August to November as it is considered the best season of the year for this trek.
