After working many years in the tourism industry with many clients from different countries, I have collected vast an experience in destination of Nepal trekking. So, now I am working as a freelance, independent and perfect trekking guide in Nepal and speak fluent English. Guiding in the Himalayas is natural for me because I have adjusted to the altitude. Educated Trekking Guide, I have achieved trekking guide certificate/License from the Ministry of Culture, Tourism & Civil Aviation Government of Nepal Registered No: 9276.
Overview
Everest Base Camp Trekking ever since the gutsy human venture to catch the top of the Mt, Everest or to put their feet at the elevation of 8848 meter from that period yet now the daring climbers are staring and encountering with an altitude of the hefty Mt, Everest. Even trek to Everest Base Camp is not as easy as you think it requires a bit of breathtaking with painstaking to every trekkers.
Ever since Sir. Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay first ascended the Mount Everest in the 1950s’ from the Nepalese part of the mountain; thousands of daring hearts have flocked to the region to reveal the serene elegance of the Everest region. Also, known as ‘trek to EBC’, Everest base camp trekking is the most desired trekking routes of the Everest region.
our package to the Everest Base Camp Trekking (EBC) is 14 days long, which perfectly commences from a flight to Lukla from Kathmandu. Once we land at Lukla, we trek up to the Dudh Koshi Valley, enclosed by the sky-high peaks of Thamserku and Kusum Kanguru. It’s a steep ascent to Namche Bazaar,
Day 1 Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) Kathmandu. Welcome with bunch of flower assistance at the Airport and meet with our staff (One of our company staff will be waiting you at the Airport with display your name “………………” which is print on our company white board and pick up by our private car and than 20 minutes drive to the Hotel. After few minutes rest in hotel, Visit in our office and have hot/cold drinks (Tea/Coffee) waiting to serve and have join together, One of our staff will brief you regarding the trip and introduction with your trekking guide. O/N at hotel.
Day 2 Fly across the Himalayas to Lukla on one of the most awe inspiring flights you’ll ever wish to see, dramatic landscapes, rolling hills and high mountainous peaks aplenty. Take some time to check out Lukla before starting our trek to Phakding for the night. After our short trek take a side trip to one of the nearby monasteries for some cultural experience. Overnight at Phakding lodge (B, L, D)
Day 3 After breakfast we trek across the beautiful Dudh Koshi River and view the magnificent Mt. Thamserku from the Benkar village. Past Sagarmatha National Park, the Hilary Suspension Bridge and the view from Chautara on our way to the colourful village of Namche Bazzar, the main gateway to the Khumbu region.Overnight at Namche lodge (B, L, D)
Day 4 Spend the day acclimatizing in Namche Bazzar. Choose an optional day hike to Syangboche (3880m) (Everest View Hotel) or choose a relaxing exploration of Namche Bazzar itself. The tourists center alone will keep you entertained for hours with an assortment of great Everest history. First ascenders, sherpa culture, various plant and animal life of the Everest region, it’s all here. Take in lunch in Kumjung and head back to Namche Bazzar for the night. Day 5 Action packed fifth day on the trip with a trek from Namche Bazzar to Tengboche. Along the way take in superb views of Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku and you guessed it, Mt. Everest itself. Touch climbing through pine forest in the afternoon before settling in at Tengboche for the night.Overnight at Tengboche lodge (B, L, D)
Day 6 With the mountains as the backdrop, the monastery in Tengboche looks spectacular especially in the early morning. After leaving camp we cross a traditional and cultural Sherpa village called Pangboche, where we can see close up the daily activities of Sherpa people. On to the riverside mountain valley called Dingboche for the night. Overnight at Dingboche lodge (B, L, D)
Day 7 Today is our second day set aside for acclimatisation, this time in Dingboche. A refreshing breakfast while admiring a looming Ama Dablam (6856m/ 22493 ft) to the south is really fantastic. This will be an ideal acclimatizing excursion. Upon this juncture, we can see three of the world’s six highest peaks, Mt Lhotse, Mt Makalu and Mt Cho Yu. To the west, loom the towering peaks of Cholatse and Taboche. From a vantage point high on the ridge, we can scan the sweeping Imja Khola valley as well as the picturesque fields and pastures of Dingboche. Overnight at Dingboche. Day 8 After breakfast we hike the steep terrain of the Khumbu Glacier. Finding our way through boulder strewn slopes we ascend Chupki Lhara, an eerie ridge with dramatic mountain views. The terrain drops and we find ourselves in front of great peaks Khumbutse, Lingtren, Pumori and Mahalangur Himal. Altitude is getting high by the this stage and the nights are getting cold. But the mountain is getting closer. Over night in Lobuche. Overnight at Lobuche lodge (B, L, D)
Day 9 Take the trail to Everest Base Camp through Gorak Shep Lake. Pass through rocky dunes and streams until we reach the base camp. Take in the views of all the colourful mountaineers tents from base camp. View Nuptse, Khumbutse, Pumori from here but not Everest. We get back to Gorak Shep for a good night’s rest. Take in the indescribable sunset from Kala Patthar before hitting the day. Optional climb of Kala Patthar for sunrise if group returns to Gorak Shep before 3pm. Overnight at Gorak Shep lodge (B, L, D)
Day 10 Wake up early and take in the dramatic sunrise and first light shining on Mt Everest from Kala Patthar. Take in the whole panoramic view of the Himilayan mountain ranges from atop Kala Patthar, one mighty mountain to another. Take as many photos as you can but let the minds eye soak in the sights too because these vistas will last a lifetime. Back to Pangboche for a good nights rest. Overnight at Pangboche lodge (B, L, D)
Day 11 From Pangboche we retrace our footsteps through the forest to Tengboche, where after lunch we continue our tree lined descent. Follow the Dudh Koshi gorge descending rapidly through the pine forests then eventually reaching Sansa. Keep a lookout for wild life such as mountain goats, snow leopards, colourful pheasants and more while passing through the forest. Return to Namche Bazzar and take one final look upon Mt Everest before settling in for a nice hit shower and warm bed. Overnight at Namche lodge (B, L, D)
Day 12 Descend and cross the suspension bridges over the Dudh Koshi and its tributaries where the trail becomes more level and natural. Walk through the Buddhist Sherpa villages taking in their cultures along the way. Arrive in Lukla for the second last night of the amazing journey. Overnight at Lukla lodge (B, L, D)
Day 13 Flight from Lukla (2,840m) – Kathmandu (1,350m). And transfer to Hotel than rest of the time for shopping . Join us for the farewell dinner at Nepali typical restaurant in the evening at 07:00 PM with culture program. (B, D)
Day 14 Onward departure to your destination by our private vehicle. 3 hrs before you have to be airport (B)
