Your Guide
I am Karna Ghale, working as a Trekking Guide since 2002 with CATreks. I am experienced trekking guide for Annapurna, Everest, Langtang, Kanchanjunga trekking regions of Nepal.
During off trek season I take English language class for porters in Lukla, Everest region.
I hold Master Degree in Commerce from Tribhuvan University Kathmandu.
My past experience is teacher's job also, I taught in a school in Kathmandu. But my passion of trekking and traveling in the hills and mountains of Nepal made me full time tourism worker.
Overview
The Annapurna Circuit Trek around the Annapurna massif has a longstanding reputation for being probably renowned the best circular trek in the world and rightly so!.
The ever-changing flora and fauna on the circuit is breathtaking – from sub-tropical jungle to apple orchards, from farm land to semi-desert, from alpine forests to the high mountain pass over the Thorung La.
Our route takes us around the huge Annapurna Massif and offers a challenging pass crossing, the most dramatic of picturesque lowland villages, high mountain scenery as well as a fascinating mix of local people and culture.
We will trek through the jungles of the sub-tropics, through lush green paddy fields and on to alpine forests and semi-desert (similar to the landscape of Tibet), all the time offering stunning and superb views of the mighty Annapurnas.
