I booked a guide via three sisters. They are the only trekking company with female guides. I preferred this as I wasn’t sure who else would join me on the trek. I was very lucky to find 4 trekking buddies at this website to join me. But our guide, pushpa was an amazing woman with great humor and knowledge. She arranged everything very well and made our trek so relaxed. We played card games in the evenings and shared a meal after the trek in the city. We’re still in touch via Facebook. And she bought me a beautiful purse as a gift, which was very generous. I will never forget her and hope we might meet once again. 1 of my friends booked a porter, named Tek. He was an amazing guy as well. Very funny, super strong. After the trek he took us boating and fishing at the lake of pokhara. And took us to a restaurant where his son works. We also me his grand son. I’m so grateful to have met these amazing people in Nepal. I would recommend them anytime!!

The communication with three sisters company was great as well, I booked everything in advance from sydney via email. They also booked places to stay for me in pokhara and Kathmandu. Although you would find cheaper places yourself, this was very convenient.
