About Parbati

I love the mountains of Nepal. I have great respect for them, and am happy for all they offer me in terms of sport and also employment. I love trekking, rock climbing and sport and of course discovering new places.

Love to showcase the part of Nepal that I am from to the people who travel with me.

An amazing experience

I could not have asked for a better guide than Parbati. She knew when to engage in a conversation and when to give me space to take in the beauty of the surrounding. Parbati had a great knowledge of the region. She also introduced me to many locals on our trek, one of which even invited us to come in and have some Tibetan tea. If I asked her a question that she did not know, she would look into her guide book or ask the locals and then tell me the next day. I really enjoyed her company. It made me smile when she sang from Nepali to Hindi to English songs. Once, I got quite sick on the trek, Parbati took care of me and made sure that I could continue. I highly recommend Parbati as your guide.

Great guide. Great experience. Highly recommended!

Parbati is the best guide you can imagine. I had such an awesome time with her! She is young, energetic, knowledgable and knows how to make people feel comfortable and she also knows how to have a good time. Without her, I would have probably gotten lost and I would have definitely gotten altitude sickness. But she took really good care of me. She truely is an awesome guide you can rely on. But she is more than a guide, she is a friend. We really had a lot of fun. I can’t wait to come back and trek with her again. Highly recommended!!!!

  1. Hi. I am planning a trip to Nepal in November 14 of this year. I plan to be there for 16 days and I was hoping to trek to the Annapurna base camp during my trip. I was wondering if you would be available during that time frame?

  2. Hello, what are your rates for the Annapurna circuit? I’d just like to take the circuit to Jomson, with one or two days at Manang.

    Thank You, Mark

    • I’m speechless. This is a very good blog and very entiicng too. Nice work! That’s not actually a lot coming from an beginner writer like me, but it surely’s all I could say after diving into your posts. Nice grammar and vocabulary. No longer like other blogs. You actually recognise what you?re talking about too. Such a lot that you made me need to explore more. Your weblog has become a stepping stone for me, my friend.

Hi, we are going to Nepal in the end of February together with my girlfriend and we would like to hike Manaslu Circuit trek (with some side trips, for example Manaslu Base Camp, Birendra Lake, Pung Gyan Gomba and Lho Gomba etc). We would like to start to hike sometimes between 3rd and 5th March. Would it be possible to hire you as a guide in this time and for this trek? Beside of your guidining, we would need also arrange all necessary permits. . . Thanks for your answer :). Best regards, Martin Jirman
