About Bunu

I am a female guide for Trek Nepal Int’l and I have been working as a trekking guide since 2010. Before being a guide, I started out as an assistant, learning the ways of trekking and slowly worked into a guide position. I love to talk with my clients and share ideas.

A lifechanging trip with the BEST GUIDE EVER!

Reviewed on Aug 16, 2014.

I hiked to Poon HIll by myself last November and I felt truly blessed to have been given Bunu as my guide. She is kind, fun, and knowledgeable about the trail and the wildlife. She had a tiny speaker with her so we were able to listen to music together and have singalongs, which was great for the super steep parts 🙂 I had such a connection to Bunu that we still talk on facebook to this day. The Poon HIll trek was lifechanging for me. It was difficult but Bunu made it easier by telling me to enjoy my surroundings and the journey, instead of thinking about how steep it is….which it can be. I would ABSOLUTELY reccomend this trip and Bunu to anyone who is ready to have an experience of a lifetime and make a lifelong friend in the process. Love you Bunu!

Pick Bunu – a brilliant guide!

I trekked the Annapurna Base Camp trail with Bunu last Nov/Dec. She was fun, kind, caring, supportive, and informative. She was great fun to walk with, we had lovely conversations (she has excellent english), and she was able to provide so much information about the mountains and the surrounding area. She supported us during the entire trek, and got us safely to Base Camp and back home again. It was one of the most amazing things that I have ever achieved, and I credit my ability to complete the trek largely to Bunu. Thank you Bunu!

  1. Hello. I am planning a trip to Nepal on Nov 15 and plan yo trek to ABC. Will you be available during that time frame?

    • I have been reading your ertines throughout my morning break, and I should admit the whole article has been very enlightening and very well written. I assumed I would let you recognise that for a few reason this weblog does no longer view well in Internet Explorer 8. I desire Microsoft might stop changing their software. I have a query for you. Would you thoughts changing weblog roll links? That may be in point of fact neat!

  2. Hi – I’m interested in hiring just a guide for a Manaslu trek. I’ll be arriving in KTM on the Sep 26 and would be available to trek for about 13 days. I understand it may be necessary to tent due to earthquake damage in villages, this is OK. Are you interested in coming as a guide?
