Andrea Robinson

Hi my name is Andrea and I am a professional photographer, photography guide. I write itineraries and arrange trekking and photography trips for photography enthusiasts, beginners and professionals.
I have been working in the photography industry for the last 13 years and the photographic travel industry as a guide for the last 5 years. In recent years I have run workshops teaching people photography skills and guided photography holidays to Nepal and India.
In Nepal I work closely with trekking agencies providing photo’s, writing itineraries, making video’s and translating English content.
I am fluent in Hungarian as I was born in Hungary and am available to guide Hungarian groups.
I grew up in Australia so my English is fluent and I am able to translate many common day practices from Nepal into a more understandable way for western trekkers.
I have been living and working in Nepal for 10 months now and am quite familiar with many of the local customs etc.
A vast portion of my trekking has been in the Everest Region where I have visited regularly for the last 3 years. I think I know every good photo spot off by heart in that area. I am also familiar with the best times to visit certain photo spots (including time of year variations and time of day).
I have also spent time in the Annapurna and Mustang Regions.
As I have run photo tours touring Nepal (no trekking) since 2013 I am extremely familiar with all of the popular tourist destinations around the country (and some that are not so popular). This means that I can show you the best locations, advise on the best time of day, best season etc so that you can go home with epic photo’s.
I have a running BLOG with a unique interpretation of my adventures around Nepal on my personal website. I also have a YouTube channel where I regularly upload trekking video’s and info about social projects that I am involved in: imagesbyandrea
I work with local communities supporting social projects that help to provide poor people, children and remote communities in Nepal with extra resources and facilities.
