Everest Base Camp Trek Detail Itinerary

Day 01Kathmandu arrival (1350m).Namaste and welcome to Nepal! We meet you on arrival and transport you to your hotel. Overnight at the hotel. (B/B)

Day 02Fly to Lukla (2,869m) and trek to Phakding (2,652m)After an early breakfast, we take you to the domestic airport for the short, scenic flight to Lukla. We begin the trek above the Dudh Koshi River and walk to Phakding. Overnight at lodge. (B/L/D).

Day 03Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440m).After checking in at the Sagarmatha National Park counter, we begin a long, uphill walk to Namche Bazaar, where we can see the stunning Himalayas. Namche Bazaar, considered the Sherpa capital, has a bustling market. Overnight at lodge. (B/L/D)

Day 04Rest and acclimatization. During our acclimatization day at Namche Bazaar, we take short trips to explore the shrines, markets, and natural surroundings. We can opt to walk around villages such as Khunde, Khumjung, and others, experiencing the colorful monasteries and Chhortens. Overnight at lodge. (B/L/D)

Day 05Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3,860m).Today our walk takes in cultural sights along with outstanding views of Everest, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, and many other white peaks. Overnight at lodge. (B/L/D)

Day 06Tengboche to Dingboche (4,410m).Along with our walk, we cross the Imja Khola/River, below the Ama Dablam peak, as the grade gets steeper. We see ancient monasteries and Sherpa settlements along the way. Overnight at lodge. (B/L/D)

Day 07Rest day to deal with the higher altitude, we recommend a rest day at Dingboche. We nonetheless stay active with a short hike, enjoying the magnificent snowy mountains. Overnight at lodge. (B/L/D)

Day 08Dingboche to Lobuche (4,910m).As we begin walking today, we see the Khumbu glacier, and also memorials to mountaineers who died during their trip. Overnight at lodge. (B/L/D)

Day 09Lobuche to Gorpshe (5280m)A great day for us! We reach Gorakshep for lunch and then walk to our target destination-Everest Base Camp. Depending on the time of year, we will see the movement of climbers. Afterward, we descend to Gorakshep again for our overnight stay. Overnight at lodge. (B/L/D)

Day 10Hike to Kalapattar (5,545m), descend to Gorakshep-Pheriche (4,210m). We get up early and after a hot drink, walk up Mt. Kalapatthar to enjoy the beautiful sunrise and views of Mt. Everest as well as Lhotse, Nuptse and Ama Dablam. We return to the lodge for breakfast and start our long trek down to Pheriche. Overnight at lodge. (B/L/D)

Day 11Pheriche to Namche BazaarCrossing famous cultural places like Pangboche and Tengboche, we gradually move to Namche Bazaar. If you like, we can walk to Monjo instead for a different overnight stop. Overnight at lodge. (B/L/D

Day 12Namche Bazaar to Lukla. On the last day of our trek, we return to Lukla and enjoy the evening to celebrate our exciting, successful trek. Overnight at lodge. (B/L/D)

Day 13Fly back to Kathmandu. We want to celebrate your wonderful trek with dinner. The whole day, you have time for shopping and buy souvenirs and the evening we celebrate. Overnight at the hotel. (B/B)

Day 14Rest day/shopping (Farewell dinner)Enjoy a full day in Kathmandu, whether it’s shopping in Thamel or visiting historical sites. We also want to celebrate your wonderful trek with dinner. Overnight at the hotel. (B/B)
