Nepal: Is it possible to Trek?

After the devastating earthquake of 25th April and huge after shock of 12th May, Nepal has been greatly affected. As is the condition of some trekking routes in Nepal. Trekking routes like Manaslu circuit and Langtang Valley have been greatly affected. Similarly, there is slight effect in Everest base camp trek route.

Business owners were excited because there had been huge booking this trek season. But all the excitements turned into grief and sadness. All the bookings were cancelled due to earthquake. This has brought huge loss to the business owners. The trekkers who had book their tour to Nepal had to cancel the trip at the last hour.

Its for sure there wont be any trekking in Langtang area and manaslu circuit on the coming season of mid September mid November. But the slightly affected trekking areas like Everest base camp, Annapurna region, Upper Mustang region and other regions except Langtang and Manaslu trek able are. These areas are safe and can be trekked. Anyone willing to trek to these areas, feel free to trek. As well as all those who have made the bookings before to these areas need not cancel the trek fearing of earthquake because situation are being normal and will continue to be normal. So feel safe and trek to Nepal.

Have trekked the AC in September, no problems, great trek, highly recommend.
Wanted to go to Lumbini but some trouble there so couldn’t go. Also went to Chitwan and also went white water rafting. Had a great time as a solo Trekker but did have a guide and driver also a Sherpa on trek.
