Mesokanta pass

Hello there!!
I am doing Tilicho high camp in a couple of days. As i am travelling alone, how feasible is it to cross Mesokanta pass & arrive at Jomsom? If yes then how well should i be prepared? I am in good shape and have past trekking experiences in the Nepal Himalayas. I have also heard of a new pass from the lake. Any suggestions and updates are welcome.
