I want to start trekking as a hobby… I am totally new to this..

Hi all.. I live in new delhi (india). Cycling is my passion and also like to workout to keep myself healthy. I am looking forward to start trekking and go on trips and for this i need guidance as to what equipments to buy or rent and where to start with. The thought of trekking came to my mind since my trip to LEH in oct 2014. It was a regular holiday but it surely has left the zeal to go trekking in life. I would love to go with some people who already have their trip planned and are travelling to india for the same purpose.i am an open minded person and love to meet new people and make friends on the go…
