Overview of the Trekking
The most popular Gokyori Everest base camp trekking 19 days starts after a forty minutes flight from Kathmandu to Lukla which is a famous starting and ending point of the trekking in Everest region. Enjoying the heart-catching view of the jungles and crossing rivers over suspension bridges, we reach Namche, which is famously known as the gateway to the world’s highest peak mount Everest(8,848m).

Our bodies need physical adjustment to higher elevations and for that matter, we need to have one day acclimatization at Namche, where we get opportunity to interact with kind, helpful and jovial sherpa people getting to know about their unique tradition, culture, and lifestyle. Then onwards we head to Gokyori via mesmerizing places Phortse, Dole and Machhermo. Gokyo Ri, which is the only best spot from where we can see the world famous mountains above eight thousand meters : mount Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, and Cho Oyuand it offers the most enchanting view of the world’s highest peak Mt. Everest. In addition, we get our heart captivated seeing turquoise glacial Gokyo lake.

After the ascend from Gokyori we hike ahead through Ngozummpa glacier(36km), the longest glacier in the himalaya towards a picturesque land chola pass, crossing which we go to lobuche, goraksep from where we go to world famous Everest base camp where Everest expeditions start and then we ascend Kala Patthar the next morning. And then the trail ascends down via Lobuche, Dingboche, Tengboche and Namche to lLkla, where we participate in the formal ending of our trekking. This trekking is significant also because of the world heritage site Sagarmatha national park that covers 124,000 hectors of theregion offering the world’s rarest species of flora and fauna within here.

Accommodations and meal
In regards to accommodation, we will provide three star hotels in Kathmandu with breakfast. Optionally, the trekkers can stay in five star hotels in Kathmandu if they wish with extra charge on their part. Physical condition and experience requirements
This is moderate trekking and anybody with physical ability to walk on the mountain trail can make up their mind for this trekking, which requires carrying of a small backpack during the entire walk of five to seven hours a day. Walking at higher elevations maybe physically challenging, however, with simple warm up exercises in prior to walking during the day can be helpful to maintain the stamina needed for the walking.
