Everest Base Camp trek

Hello everyone,
I’m planning to do the standard base camp trek starting on August 20 as it’s the only time I can complete this trip, even though I am a bit flexible to move it for 1 week later.
My question is basically regarding the fact that I read it is the rainy season so I wanted to know if anyone have gone during this time, if the rain is really unbearable and if it is a wasting of time since there is no going to be visibility. This is my first time in this part of the world so I wouldn’t want to miss on the experience.
Thank you very much in advance for your responses.

Hi, Thank you for your interest in visiting Nepal.. During Monsoon the environment even looks spectacular with green lush forests and water resources everywhere.
Rainfall is not heavy as you have stated during august. Rainfall might occur for about 10 minutes and after that the weather looks so splendid with clear sky.

I am going to Everest Base Camp with 2 of my clients. You can join me and if you want more information then email me at
