Annapurna circuit trek in November,,,, any advice???

hi

i’ve just joined the forum as i realise i getting close to my trek in nepal and haven’t got anything sorted other than my flight booked for the 10 november till 27 november to katmandu!!!
I’m looking to trek the annapurna circuit as i believe from what i’ve been told it up there with the best. (so why not)?
I’m a fit 31 year old english male and of good fitness so the trek does not faze me in that sense but making sure i’m on the correct route and having somewhere to to sleep at night does, so i just would like to ask if anyone would recommend a trek group (not too expensive) or anyone male/female going around that time to post me back, would be great to get some advice :)…
can’t wait to go… just over 4 months now!!!!!

Hi Dean,

I wrote an article recently on the best treks in Nepal which will give you some perspective on available treks – http://www.trekkingpartners.com/2014/05/07/top-12-best-treks-nepal-2014/.

Annapurna Circuit is a classic and probably the most popular. Looks like you’ll have just enough time to squeeze it in; most itineraries take around 15 days but you can do it faster as well.

As APC is so popular, you won’t have any trouble finding your way or a place to stay, especially in November when you’ll meet a bunch of other trekkers en route. Having a guide is generally good practice, though – for safety, local knowledge and organization assistance – but a guide is optional for this route.

Here’s a list of upcoming partners for the Annapurna Circuit:

And I’ll send you a list of recommended guides shortly…

hey dean, the weather on the trail will vary at different altitudes, but in the town of ghorepani which is located at 9393 feet, june is the hottest month of the year with averages as high as 68°F. winter months like january can get as cold as 25.9 °F. so november is okay to trek on annapurna circuit, I can give u more details if u need it. enjoy.

Hi Dean,
It will be better to go with a guide who can help you during the trekking. And just bring the guide through the agency also will not be so expensive. Anyway you need TIMS and Permit to trekking in Annapurna Circuit so, it is better to contact with a agency. We can manage guide, porter, and package trip.
