ABC trek – is it possible (wise) to do this in December?

Hi there,

I’m looking to arrive in Nepal for the quieter trekking month of December (2015). Is it safe and or possible to do Annapurna Base Camp during this time? What are the preferred ‘safer’ routes to tackle during this time?

Up at ABC it will be really cold , but yes of course we can organize that trek in December for you. Are you alone?

March is fine , maybe still some snow higher up

March is very suitable for trekking to ABC. But if you physically fit then you can also do it in December . Trekking above the snow would be your best experience . We can organize everything for you if you want.
