Himalayan Adventure Intl Treks and Expedition (HAITE) is a trekking agency registered under the Nepal Government Tourism Board (NTB), Trekking Agencies Association of Nepal (TAAN), Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA), and the Kathmandu Environmental Education Project (KEEP).
HAITE was founded in 2018 by a highly professional and experienced technical mountaineer, Binod Karki. Binod has been trekking and mountaineering since 2006 starting out as a porter and eventually obtaining his license in 2009 from the Ministry of Tourism and Civil Aviation to be a professional Guide. After 9 years, of completing Annapurna, Everest, Langtang, Manaslu, Kanchenjunga, and Makalu treks and summiting Island 6189m, Mera 6476m, Dhampus 6012m, Chulu East 6429m, Lobuche East peak6119m across Nepal, Tibet, and India, Binod felt that he could raise the standard of the industry and that it was time to start his own trekking agency.
HAITE only has a team of the most friendly, professional, and highly trained porters and guides for all your trekking, mountaineering, and peak climbing needs. Safety and Security are of utmost importance and HAITE continually updates its training to current standards. HAITE’S vision is to make each and every experience professional and memorable.
HAITE is also dedicated to the conservation of Nepal’s mountain environment and assisting locals in raising awareness about sustainability and the environment.
