Background
Climb High Himalaya was established in 2003 by Raj Thapa and Pemba Doma Sherpa, the first Nepali lady to climb Everest from North and 6th in the world to climb Everest from both north and south.
Pemba is also the receipt of ‘Gorkha Dakshin Bahu’, the national award from former king, gold medal for mountaineering, a peak named after her in the Himalayas and a stamp released by the Govt. of Nepal in her honor.
