As a boy i grew up looking after my cattle in the remote village of
Punakha which is located in the Himalayan kingdom of Bhutan. I’ve always admired the snow capped Himalayan mountains that surrounds my village,the ancient fortresses on the hillocks and the lush green paddy fields .These picturesque images have become the integral part of my childhood memories .

I was fortunate to pursue my further studies in Delhi, so in the 90’s i backpacked and traveled intensely through out India and Nepal and later extended my travels to most of the countries in South East Asia and Europe.

Back at home my past time includes hiking in the mountain, cycling, running Marathons, attending the festivals,photography and occasionally joining my friends at the local pub for beer and a good laugh. With my interest in traveling and my love for the country, I started Bhutan Lakhor Tours&Treks with the aim to provide quality and personalized services to the guests who wants to come for holiday to Bhutan. Our tour itineraries are based on the age, personal interest, health condition and dietary habits of the guests.We have a team of young and energetic local guides who make sure that you have safe and fun filled holiday in Bhutan.
